Me
Neither a poet, nor an artist, nor a singer,
Neither dreamer, nor realist, nor skeptic,
I express it as it comes to me,
and let it become what it meant to be!
A system of systems,
in a system of systems,
a speck in time, till it lasts,
curious to know what all it can be,
the one that is known as me!
I seek to know,
the knower and the known,
and science of all sciences,
by simply playing the play, as directed,
I find every moment a new me!
My Medium
Pen, pencil, brush,
Or just with bare hands,
Graphite, charcoal, acrylic,
with water-color or oil-paints,
I see the beauty of black and white,
and all the colors in between,
I feel the power of words,
and the magic they can weave!
I listen to the whisper of winds,
and write the poems they sing,
From flowers I borrow hues,
and let feelings give me cues,
with elders by my side,
and nature as my guide,
I am ready to work with anything,
that makes the canvas alive!
My Inspiration
Many travelled the roadless one,
Many mastered the art.
All of them I admire well,
but some feel closer to heart.
Heroes of past and present,
Or some person just next door,
Many are my guiding light,
but some inspire me more.
Walking on the footprints of giants,
making my mark on the shore,
I travel the path uncharted,
the one that resonates the core.
